We are in search of an Accounting Manager for our Knoxville, TN office. Although we operate in a hybrid environment, this person must be located in, or planning to relocate to Knoxville on a permanent basis. Reporting to the Assistant Controller and working closely with all members of the Finance and Accounting Team.

What You'll Do:

• Oversee all aspects of the general ledger and general ledger team with 3-5 direct reports
• Perform month-end close and reporting for the Parent company
• Oversee travel and expense management through our virtual card applications
• Prepare expense allocations across the portfolio entities
• Ensure Company compliance with ASC 842 Leases
• Adjust and reconcile inter-company balance sheet accounts
• Assist with cash reporting, forecasting, and management of bank accounts
• Assist with tax requests and projects
• Assist with preparation of audit support and requests by management
• Assist with complex accounting transactions, including technical accounting changes and mergers and acquisitions
• Identify areas for process improvement and implement where feasible

Qualifications

What You'll Need: 

• 5-7 years of progressive experience with a focus on SaaS preferred
• Previous management experience preferred
• Strong GAAP knowledge and proficiency
• Experience with Intacct and/or SalesForce is a plus
• Exceptional data analysis and a high proficiency in Excel required
• Strong analytical and business skills including the ability to grasp the big picture
• Must work well under pressure, be able to interact in a team environment, be able to adapt quickly to change, have a deep attention to detail and strong customer service skills.
• Capable of working independently and managing multiple projects at the same time with a commitment to timely delivery in a fast-paced team environment for a high growth company.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to multi-task in fast-paced environment with a strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting; CPA preferred
