Implements accounting policies and procedures that adhere to governmental financial and tax regulations and comply with GAAP and IFRS standards. Being an Accounting Manager oversees monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting close processes and reporting. Evaluates accounting processes and systems and implements optimizations. Additionally, Accounting Manager develops and directs accounting professionals and support staff. Requires a bachelor's degree in accounting or finance. The Accounting Manager job is to check over financial statements, monitor company budgets, calculate employee paychecks for each pay period and review and prepare tax obligations. Accounting Manager (AC) directs and organizes all general accounting activities and accounting staff while utilizing their knowledge of financial practices to perform important accounting tasks. They prepare accounting and financial reports and ensures accurate accounting systems and record keeping. The AC reports directly to the Controller. The AC assists in Accounts Payable process as well as Accounts Receivable efforts.
