Senior Accountant

Cimarron Label is a national leader in innovative labeling solutions and currently has an opening for a Senior Accountant.

This position will join an accounting team in a manufacturing setting with multiple locations and will perform AP/AR functions, payroll functions and make monthly journal entries. Assists in mid-level accounting work that will be used in financial statements.

Key Responsibilities:

 Manage and distribute AR aging reports.

 Process all payments.

 Work with customers and sales to resolve payment discrepancies.

 Create weekly AP check runs for all locations.

 Set and process bi-weekly payroll.

 Enter monthly journal entries.

 Reconcile accounts monthly.

 Prepare and file sales and use taxes.

 Must comply with all company policies.

 Must follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) related to job function and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s).

Knowledge/Skills:

 Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business related.

 3-5 years of accounting experience; manufacturing preferred

 Strong understanding of accounting procedures.

 Must be attentive to detail and be able to work with minimum supervision.

 Computer knowledge of Excel and Word.

 Able to multi-task, organize and prioritize workload.
