Oversees calculating, posting, and verification of financial data for use in maintaining accounting and statistical records. Being an Accounting Supervisor ensures all analysis and reporting are accurate and prepared in compliance with accounting policies and procedures. Establishes and implements productivity and quality standards. Additionally, Accounting Supervisor typically requires a bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent. Typically reports to a manager. As a Payroll Clerk, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll for multiple clients with multiple pay schedules: Weekly, Bi-Weekly and Semi-Monthly
Duties:
- Process payroll for employees using QuickBooks and ADP.
- Verify and enter employee hours, wages, and deductions
- Review and verify accuracy of payroll data before processing
- Prepare and distribute paychecks or direct deposit statements via email to multiple clients
- Reconcile payroll discrepancies and resolve any issues or errors
Skills:
- Experience in QuickBooks and ADP software for payroll processing is a MUST
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Understanding of governmental accounting regulations and compliance requirements
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Proficient in 10-key typing for efficient data entry
