GLOVIS EV Logistics America, is an integrated logistics company located in Savannah, Georgia. We provide Tier 1 logistic, warehousing and inventory services to Hyundai Motor Group Metaplant America (HMGMA). GLOVIS EV Logistics America was established on October 6, 2022, and we are looking for initial members to grow with us.

Summary:

The purpose of this position is to work as a team with the accounting department in ensuring the accuracy of company financial data.

Department: Accounting

Reports to: Accounting Manager

Responsibilities for Accounting Specialist:

• Prepare, examine or analyze accounting records, financial statements, or other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards.
• Calculate, reconcile, and process payments, invoices, account statements, and other financial statements according to established preparations.
• Month-end closing duty as well as entering invoices and budgets into SAP.
• Assist in creating departmental budgets and monitoring each department's budget status.
• Assist in the preparation of various reports related to expense, inventory accounts receivable, and accounts payable as needs occur.
• Investment management regarding tangible/intangible assets.
• Plan, organize, and prioritize multiple tasks within a defined time period.
• Maintain data integrity and accuracy and use data to identify problems.
• Ensure all invoices are approved by the responsible department and HOD.
• Produce monthly financial and management reports.
• Filing Property Taxes, 1042/1099/2290, Filing Use/Sales Taxes
• Other duties as assigned by manager.


Qualifications for Accounting Specialist:

• An understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting skills is required.
• Excel skill is must
• SAP, Business Letter, and MS Office skill is preferred.
• Knowledge of accounts receivable/general ledger system and procedures
• Accounting: 1 year
• Microsoft Excel: 1 year (Required)

The estimated base salary range for the Tax Manager is $55,700-$61,000. The salary range information provided is in accordance with applicable state and local laws regarding salary transparency that are currently in effect and may be implemented in the future. The range represents a good faith estimate of the range that GLOVIS EA reasonably expects to pay for this job at the time of the job posting. The actual salary paid to an individual will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to specific skills or certifications, years of experience, market changes, and required travel.
