Maintains and reconciles accounts payable ledger to validate charges and ensure accurate and timely payments. Additionally, Accounts Payable Clerk responds to vendor inquiries and assists with the research of any discrepancies in billings and payments. May utilize accounting software and systems to manage invoices and payments. Requires a high school diploma. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Accounts Payable Clerk works under moderate supervision. Gaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline. Summary Completes payments and controls expenses by receiving, processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices by performing the following duties.

Education and/or Experience High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Computer Skills To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft software and Accounting software.
