The accounts payable clerk will be primarily responsible for payables but will also be tasked with other business office duties. This role reports directly to the office manager.

Responsibilities

• Accounts Payable management

• Review verify and process invoices
• Sort, code and enter accounts payable data
• Analyze discrepancies and unpaid invoices
• Maintain vendor files

• Communicate with vendors.
• Disburse checks
• Prepare accounts for payments and verify data in system
• Ensure accurate financial reporting, maintain organizational excellence within the department.
• Will work directly with the Office Manager with a goal of professional and personal development.
• Other responsibilities and tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent required
• College graduate or equivalent experience a plus
• Professional accounting experience
• Preferred AP experience in automotive dealership
• Experience using a dealership management system (DMS)
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Outlook
• Strong communication skills, positive attitude and eagerness to improve
• Self-starter who can work both independently and with a team
• Must have strong work ethic and be able to multitask
• Excellent organizational skills
• Dependable and detail oriented
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet ongoing deadlines
• Subject to all pre-employment testing. Dealership experience is preferred.

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
