Logistics:

• Job Title: Accounts Payable Clerk
• Placement Type: 3-Month Contract (Potential Extension or conversion)
• Location: 100% remote (must work PST hours)
• Compensation: $23-$28/hr DOE
• Compliance: Must be willing to submit to a background check

Overview:

This individual will be joining a 3-person AP team as the forth member of the team. They will be responsible for full cycle invoice processing using 3-way invoice matching in Oracle. Ensure the timely and accurate processing and payments of all invoices. Work with other departments to understand purchases to make sure correct GL coding is used and that no improper payments are made.

Responsibilities:

• Approx. 500 invoices per month.
• Verify incoming Vendor Activation Requests are complete.
• Stamp incoming invoices and upload into the doc library.
• Verify documentation, log non-PO invoices in Oracle, and route to appropriate manager(s) for approval.
• Verify approvals provided are in compliance with the company Approval Limits.
• Verify that the invoice is coded to the appropriate general ledger accounts for accurate posting (including multiple company and department allocations).
• Work closely with other departments to resolve discrepancies.
• Match PO invoices to Oracle POs.
• Resolve PO invoice holds per Sourcing and Planning responses to weekly Hold Report.
• Verify all invoices included in the payment batches to ensure the payment is for the correct vendor, invoice number, amount (including applicable discounts), payment type, and address or bank info and correct any errors prior to releasing payment.
• Process disbursements to vendors via check, ACH, or wire.
• Monitor and resolve invoices that have not been paid and ensure credits are taken or refund is received for any negative balances due.
• Maintain Concur user setups and preform accounting review of Concur expense reports.
• Respond to internal and external payment inquiries and reconcile vendor statements.
• Assist in monthly closings.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• 2 years of full cycle Accounts Payable experience
• 3-way Invoice matching
• Large ERP experience- Oracle preferred
• Excel
