We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Lead - for Full Time or Part time employment

If you are a recently retired accoutant/ bookkeeper we can accomodate a part-time schedule

We are looking for a motivated individual to join our company and help to lead our AP team. The ideal candidate must have experience and proficiency in using MAS SAGE 100.

• Be able to follow ISO procedures.
• Be skilled in posting journal entries
• Understand accounting procedures
• Help us to review our statement and make corrections to previous errors.
• Prepare P and L statements
• Audit invoices for accuracy, appropriate documentation, and approvals; process invoices for select offices
• Perform Receipt of goods in our accounting system (SAGE 100)
• Prepare and print checks or process ACHs for all payables.
• Reconcile company credit cards.
• Respond in a timely manner to all payable-related inquiries from vendors

5 or more years of accounts payable or bookkeeping experience are required.

Self-starter, able to work independently and with a team

Proficient data entry skills are a must.

Willingness to follow our company procedures, specifically ISO related.

Demonstrated organizational skills.

Computer-literate, must be proficient in Excel.

Experience in a manufacturing company is a plus. Must be authorized to work in the US.

References detailing previous experiences are required, and a background check is part of the hiring process.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
