Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team. As an Accounts Payable Clerk, you will be responsible for managing the company's financial transactions and ensuring accuracy in all accounts payable processes. This is a vital role within our organization, as you will play a key part in maintaining the financial health of our company.

Responsibilities:
- Process accounts payable invoices and ensure accurate coding and approval
- Prepare and process payments to vendors and suppliers
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies
- Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions
- Assist with month-end closing activities, including general ledger reconciliation

- Support the finance department with various tasks as needed

-Assist with cashiering duties as needed

Skills:
- Proficiency in relevant accounting software – Sage Software preferred
- Strong knowledge of accounts payable processes and procedures
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
- Knowledge of general ledger reconciliation and corporate accounting principles preferred
