Accounts Payable and Receivables Job Description:

This is a 5-month temporary position with the possibility of long term employment. The Accounts Payable/Receivable Specialist is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of the Company’s invoices including coding, processing, and research. In addition, the position is responsible for providing high level customer service.

Responsibilities & Duties:

• Receiving, processing, and verifying invoices related to accounts payable.
• Communication with internal and external customers
• Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date
• Resolve invoice discrepancies
• Receivable Invoice processing
• Assists in collections of delinquent accounts
• General clerical work as needed.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• 2-4 years experience in accounts payable/receivable or experience in a general accounting position
• Strong organization and communication skills
• Ability to work under limited supervision and is able to problem solve
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel
• Have analytical abilities, team working capabilities and be results-oriented
