Accounts Payable Manager manages accounts payable functions to ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies. Ensures timely payments of vendor invoices and expense vouchers and maintains accurate financial records and control reports. Being an Accounts Payable Manager routinely reviews applicable accounting reports to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvements or cost-savings. Reviews and evaluates the accounts payable register to ensure accuracy. Additionally, Accounts Payable Manager designs and implements standard policies and procedures to ensure accurate and compliant accounts payable records. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Accounts Payable Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Job Description:
Review and approve vendor invoices submitted through Concur
Review invoices received and route to proper employees;
Complete data entry of vendor invoices not processed through Concur
Coordinate the preparation and mailing of check request runs and accounts payable checks
Research and reply to vendor and employee inquiries regarding status of invoices
Review vendor statements to ensure all invoices are received
Qualifications:
At least one year of Accounts Payable experience
Proficiency in MS Excel
Proficiency with Concur a plus
Knowledge of SAP a plus
Exceptional communication skills - both written and verbal
Strong interpersonal skills
Ability to prioritize and multi task in a fast paced environment
Pay Range: $26/hr-$28/hr
