Accounts Payable Manager manages accounts payable functions to ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies. Ensures timely payments of vendor invoices and expense vouchers and maintains accurate financial records and control reports. Being an Accounts Payable Manager routinely reviews applicable accounting reports to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvements or cost-savings. Reviews and evaluates the accounts payable register to ensure accuracy. Additionally, Accounts Payable Manager designs and implements standard policies and procedures to ensure accurate and compliant accounts payable records. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Accounts Payable Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be an Accounts Payable Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. Pay Range: $24 - $30/hr DOE
Responsibilities:- Handle full-cycle Accounts Payable, processing a high volume of invoices weekly for two company entities
- Conduct department analysis for 30 different ranches, ensuring accurate application of costs
- Perform reconciliations of vendor statements and research discrepancies
- Address vendor queries and maintain effective communication
- Update Accounts Payable reports, spreadsheets, and files
- Manage general ledger entries and purchase order processing
- Process all 1099 transactions
- Track company vehicles and manage insurance-related issues
Requirements:- A minimum of 2 years full-cycle Accounts Payable experience
- High School Diploma required
- Proficiency in Word and Excel at an entry-level
- Familiarity with Famous software (industry-specific) is preferred
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle high-volume work
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work closely with others in a team environment
- Must be able to work fully onsite
