Accounts Payable/Receivable Analyst jobs in Modesto, CA

SUMMARY: Responsible for properly performing all financial activities related to Accounts Payable in accordance with established procedures and controls.

Essential Responsibilities and Duties: (Specific areas of responsibility including, but not limited to)

• Performs weekly check runs and credit card vendor payments.
• Inputs invoice information into casino accounting software for all vendors
• Maintains contract with other departments and various outside vendors
• Provides courteous service and is cordial to all Team Members and Guests
• Establishes and maintains files and records.
• Makes decisions in accordance with approved procedures and precedents using good judgment and initiative.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Mandatory Requirements:

• Must possess a High School Diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent.
• Must possess previous accounts payable experience.
• Must have excellent knowledge of computer programs and applications, including MS Office.
• Must be able to type 40 wpm and operate ten-key by touch. (May be tested)
• Must be able to pass a mandatory drug test.
• Must possess excellent administrative and organizational skills.
• Must possess the ability to keep up with a fast-paced environment and work under pressure.
• Must be able to obtain a valid gaming license.
• Must provide evidence of employment eligibility in the U.S.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must be able to communicate proficiently in English.

Physical Demands:

• Must be physical able to perform all job requirements.
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds and occasionally more with assistance.

Work Environment:

• Must be able to work in a non-smoke free environment.
• Must be able to work in a noisy environment.
• Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and special events.
