Accounts Payable/Receivable Manager manages the accounts payable and accounts receivable functions of an organization to ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies. Reviews and evaluates the accounts payable and receivable registers to validate charges and ensure timely and accurate payments and receipt of payments. Being an Accounts Payable/Receivable Manager monitors account aging reports, identifies delinquent accounts, and refers accounts to collection agencies. Verifies customer credit limits and applicable payment terms. Additionally, Accounts Payable/Receivable Manager designs and implements standard policies and procedures to ensure accurate and compliant financial records. Audits methods and procedures of the accounts payable and receivable functions to improve efficiency. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Accounts Payable/Receivable Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be an Accounts Payable/Receivable Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.   • Position Overview: Phoenix Proconnect is seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our growing team in Fort Lauderdale. The ideal candidate will have experience in accounts receivable processes, familiarity with software similar to Chart Guard, Portal 4 Chargebacks, and Double POS, or similar platforms, and a strong commitment to accuracy and efficiency in financial record-keeping.

    Key Responsibilities: RETAIL OR E-COMMERCE INDUSTRY A BIG PLUS

    • Process and reconcile incoming payments from clients and customers.
    • Manage accounts receivable ledger and ensure accurate and timely recording of transactions.
    • Monitor outstanding balances and follow up with clients regarding overdue payments.
    • Investigate and resolve discrepancies or issues with invoices and payments.
    • Utilize software tools such as Chart Guard or similar for chargebacks to streamline processes and maintain data integrity.
    • Prepare and distribute regular reports on accounts receivable status and aging analysis.
    • Collaborate with other departments, such as sales and customer service, to address customer inquiries and resolve billing disputes.
    • Assist with month-end close activities and support financial audits as needed.
    • Stay updated on industry best practices and regulations related to accounts receivable processes.

    Qualifications:

    • Previous experience in an accounts receivable or similar financial role.
    • Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
    • Familiarity with software tools such as Chart Guard or similar platforms is highly desirable.
    • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
    • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
    • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is preferred.

    Job Type: Full-time

    Pay: $68,595.00 - $75,000.00 per year
