Accounts Payable/Receivable Manager jobs in Fresno, CA

San Joaquin Valley Homes, the fastest-growing Home Builder in the Central Valley, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Manager to join our Accounting & Finance team.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the entire Accounts Payable process, including invoice entry, coding & check runs
• Resolve discrepancies, disputes, or other issues
• Work closely with vendors and subcontractors to ensure payments are processed timely
• Process intercompany transactions and bank transfers
• Prepare and post journal entries
• Organize and maintain documentation of A/P processes and procedures
• Maintain A/P files, ensuring proper maintenance, filing, and storage of records
• Work closely with the Controller and Accounting Manager to meet department deadlines
• Supervise, provide guidance, and manage the workload of Accounts Payable staff
• Prepare and process annual 1099 reports
• Other duties as assigned

Skills:

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Experience with BuildPro and Hyphen Solutions Software a plus
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration
• 2-4 years of work experience, preferably in Construction industry

Salary Compensation and Benefits:

$50,000-$65,000 DOE
