RESPONSIBILITIES:

The position in is a very high exposure role with a wide range of customers and:

• Works cross functionally with leadership in Purchasing, Finance, Plant Operations, Treasury, and various other departments to drive continuous improvement.
• Is responsible for the centralized AP process and oversees the timely processing of invoices and credit memos for all locations.
• Manages two Lead Analyst and five AP Analyst roles at the core of the Centralized AP Process.
• Has thorough knowledge of Oracle Accounts Payable, DataServ, EDI (Electronic Invoice Process), legacy feeder payment systems, integrations and accrual processes to answer questions and serve as a resource for issue resolution.
• Oversees the closing of the AP subledger, preparation of AP balance sheet reconciliations, and ensures timely and accurate 1099 reporting.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:  

• As a subject matter expert, support the COE with system upgrades, on-going testing, and implementations. 
• Continuously evaluates and suggest process improvements to Management and the COE.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Required

• 3 years of accounting/finance experience. 
• A bachelor's degree in related field.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• A pattern of leadership and initiative.
• Well-developed interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong time management skills and the ability to set priorities.
• Well-developed software skills including Oracle and Excel.
• Must be a Citizen or National of the United States, a lawful, permanent resident, or have authorization to work in the United States
