Accounts Payable Manager
Accounts Payable Manager will work within the Accounting Team to provide all aspects of accounts payable including processing bills, making payments, reconciling statements, intercompany billing through online bill payment system. Additional offline payments will occur. Other duties include management of accounts, files and supporting documents. Will report to Controller.
Duties and Responsibilities
· Provide bill entry for accounts payable including electronic submission of payables.
· Create scheduled payments as well as offline payments.
· Manage accounts payable, including organization of files, paid bills, field calls, solicit bill copies and reconcile vendor statements.
· Keep an organized filing system of all accounts, statements, transactions, payments, and debts and maintain a documented system of accounting policies and operations.
· Provide Controller & Assistant Controller with accounting support.
Accounting Admin Job Requirements and Qualifications
· Minimum three years’ experience in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office Suite, database, or other system knowledge.
· Experience with online billing and payment apps like bill.com
· The ideal candidate has a minimum of 3 years of experience in accounts payable or receivable.
· Excel skills include creation of spreadsheets, formulas, and pivot tables.
· General knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, cost accounting and cost control principles, and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Attention to detail.
· Willing and able to assist or lend a hand as needed, in a positive and upbeat manner.
