Accounts Payable/Receivable Supervisor is responsible for supervising and guiding the day-to-day operational activities of an organization's accounts receivable and accounts payable functions. Maintains and reconciles the accounts payable and accounts receivable ledger to validate charges and ensure timely and accurate payments and receipt of payments. Being an Accounts Payable/Receivable Supervisor implements standard operating procedures to maintain accurate financial records and control reports. Monitors collection period and sends follow-up inquiries regarding payments for the organization. Additionally, Accounts Payable/Receivable Supervisor negotiates with past-due accounts to resolve all payment issues in a timely manner. Prepares and evaluates applicable accounting reports to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for cost-savings or process improvements and relays conclusions to management. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Accounts Payable/Receivable Supervisor supervises a small group of para-professional staff in an organization characterized by highly transactional or repetitive processes. Contributes to the development of processes and procedures. To be an Accounts Payable/Receivable Supervisor typically requires 3 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. Skills is currently seeking a Full-time Accounts Payable Supervisor to join our team! The candidate we are seeking should be a clear thinker who can effectively organize their time and pay close attention to detail on a regular basis. We need someone who is capable of managing multiple tasks while maintaining accuracy, and this position requires someone who can work well both independently and as part of a small team. This position's responsibilities include performing accounts payable functions to include accurate coding, data entry, check runs, and supervising the accounts payable assistants adjusting workload and improving processes within the department. The schedule for this position is Monday-Friday 8a-4p (in-office).
