Skills is currently seeking a Full-time Accounts Payable Supervisor to join our team! The candidate we are seeking should be a clear thinker who can effectively organize their time and pay close attention to detail on a regular basis. We need someone who is capable of managing multiple tasks while maintaining accuracy, and this position requires someone who can work well both independently and as part of a small team. This position's responsibilities include performing accounts payable functions to include accurate coding, data entry, check runs, and supervising the accounts payable assistants adjusting workload and improving processes within the department. The schedule for this position is Monday-Friday 8a-4p (in-office).  

Requirements

EDUCATION

• High School diploma with general business/office curriculum

EXPERIENCE

• Five (5) years general office experience; three (3) years accounts payable experience; some supervisory experience preferred. 

SPECIAL JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, COMPETENCIES:

• Must be computer literate, i.e. spreadsheets, accounting software, word processing and data entry skills.
• Ability to learn the agency’s various computer programs.
• Requires sound decision making and problem solving skills.
• Must be able to understand and apply generally accepted accounting principles.
