Accounts Payable/Receivable Supervisor jobs in Des Moines, IA

AGRILAND FS, a financially strong cooperative serving customers across a growing geography, is looking for a detail focused, well organized Accounts Receivable Supervisor. This individual will lead the Accounts Receivable Administrator team to ensure proper processes and provide customer service to customers.

Core Responsibilities:

• Oversee the timely collection of outstanding receivables.
• Establish collection goals and coordinate to continually meet and exceed goals.
• Communicate with customers to build and maintain a strong working relationship and be able to resolve billing issues.
• Set objectives for the accounts receivable team that align with the department's goals
• Ensure team members follow the established procedures
• Identify and drive continuous process improvements

What we need from you:

• Two year accounting or business administrative degree; or equivalent work experience
• Demonstrate organizational skills with the ability to work on multiple projects at one time
• Excellent communication skills
• Good data entry skills with a strong attention to detail
• Excellent self starting skills demonstrating the ability to work under little supervision
• Must be able to learn and master propriety computer software
• Must demonstrate excellent computer skills with experience in Microsoft Office Products
• Excellent reconciling skills
