Accounts Payable/Receivable Supervisor is responsible for supervising and guiding the day-to-day operational activities of an organization's accounts receivable and accounts payable functions. Maintains and reconciles the accounts payable and accounts receivable ledger to validate charges and ensure timely and accurate payments and receipt of payments. Being an Accounts Payable/Receivable Supervisor implements standard operating procedures to maintain accurate financial records and control reports. Monitors collection period and sends follow-up inquiries regarding payments for the organization. Additionally, Accounts Payable/Receivable Supervisor negotiates with past-due accounts to resolve all payment issues in a timely manner. Prepares and evaluates applicable accounting reports to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for cost-savings or process improvements and relays conclusions to management. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Accounts Payable/Receivable Supervisor supervises a small group of para-professional staff in an organization characterized by highly transactional or repetitive processes. Gopuff’s Accounts Payable (AP) team is rapidly growing and is seeking an AP Supervisor to join the team! This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a team who is transforming Accounts Payable to better support our customer’s needs. The Accounts Payable Supervisor will deliver high quality service to internal and external customers by overseeing the AP inventory Team and identifying continuous improvement opportunities particularly relating to EDI invoice submission. We are looking for an individual who can bring both their AP expertise and customer obsession to help us enhance our Procure to Pay (P2P) processes. This is a unique opportunity to engage with internal partners to transform how Gopuff procures.
