Homemakers is looking to expand our Accounting Department. You are an essential part of the Accounting function and counted on to be able to provide an overall positive experience. You are part of the corporate area that fosters a team environment. You take initiative, provide feedback for your team and are adaptable to the ebbs and flows of the day-to-day business.
Job Duties

• Enter and process invoices received
• Verify invoices received against purchase orders
• Balance vendor statements
• Contact Vendors to resolve discrepancies
• Understand vendor contracts
• Verifying payments to vendors
• Filing paperwork
• Working knowledge of accounts receivable procedures
• Maintain Vendor Records
• The above responsibilities and additional duties may vary as assigned

Job Requirements:

• High School or GED
• 2-3 years of experience with Microsoft Excel/Outlook
• Strong attention to detail
• Knowledge of accounting basics
• Typing skills of 35 net wpm
• Data Entry skills of 60 kpm
