Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of accounts payable, including processing invoices, reconciling accounts, and ensuring timely payments to vendors.

Responsibilities:

• Process accounts payable transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Match invoices to purchase orders and receiving documents.
• Verify coding, approvals, and proper documentation for payment.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies.
• Prepare and process weekly check runs and electronics payments.
• Communicate with vendors regarding payment inquiries and discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate and organized accounts payable files and records.
• Assist with month-end closing procedures as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field preferred.
• 2 years of experience in accounts payable or related accounting role.
• Proficiency in accounting software
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
