Job Summary: HonorBridge is recruiting for an Accounts Payable Coordinator to work in our Greenville, NC office. In this role, the Accounts Payable Coordinator is responsible for processing accounts payable. The position also assists the HonorBridge finance department in administering other financial operations within the organization.

• Prepares and Processes HonorBridge Accounts Payable
  • Processes accounts payable
  • Reviews HonorBridge employee expense reports
  • Reviews and verifies invoices and match with purchase orders
  • Assures AP payments are timely and accurate
  • Request and prepare hospital bills for review and payment
  • Works to maintain open communication with vendors
  • Prepare monthly accruals
  • Maintain donor cost log spreadsheets
  • Maintain company vehicle log, maintenance, mileage and gas receipts
  • Trains new employees in Finance Department policies and procedures
  • Prepares AP reports for review by HonorBridge CFO
  • Annually prepares 1099's and filings of appropriate forms timely

• Coordinates payables associated with organ and tissue donation
  • Works in concert with Audit Vendor to review donor hospital bill(s)
  • Works in concert with HonorBridge clinical staff to review donor hospital bill(s) when questions arise from audit vendor or donor hospitals
  • Communicates routinely with accounting departments at donor hospital

• Assists in other General Office Functions
  • Routes calls to the appropriate party
  • Sort mail in the absence of the Executive Assistant
  • Communicates in a courteous manner

• Performs other duties as assigned by the Director of Financial Operations

What you will bring:

• Assocate degreee preferred with a background in accounting
• Strong ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing with internal and external customers
• Has knowledge of accounting software (specifically accounts payable software and processes), word processing and spreadsheets.
• Able to maintain confidentiality
• Demonstrated ability in problem solving, accuracy, and thoroughness.
• Ability to maintain organization in a changing environment and establish priorities.
