Are you seeking a hybrid opportunity? Doherty is currently seeking an Accounts Payable Assistant to join a food industrial team for 18 months in Faribault, MN for a first shift opportunity. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory levels, monitoring stock movements and identifying potential discrepancies. Starting wage is from $23-$28/hr.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate inventory levels by accurately receiving, counting, and storing inventory items.
• Monitor stock movements and identify potential discrepancies through regular stock counts and cycle counts.
• Assists in the physical inventory process by counting and verifying items.
• Assist in maintaining inventory records by entering data into computer system.
• Assist in the preparation of reports by collecting and summarizing data.
• Assist in maintaining a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat.
• Assist in other inventory-related projects as required.

Qualifications:

• Must be able to work in part time in the office
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and knowledge of inventory software
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• 1 year of AP/ AR experience is preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent.
