As Stemilt’s Accounts Payable Specialist you will work closely with our finance leadership and key members of operating departments. The Accounts Payable Specialist performs day to day AP activities as assigned by the Accounts Payable Lead. This position supports four thousand Stemilters, and it’s required to deliver extraordinary customer service at all levels, as well as demonstrate respect for our suppliers, assist in preparing for audits, and produce timely and accurate internal reporting. Excellent interpersonal communication skills a must.

Additional Responsibilities

• Key player in accounts payable activities including timely payment to vendors and recording of daily bank activity
• Works with vendors and internal departments in researching and resolving credits, payments, and other related scenarios
• Understanding policies and procedures relating to accounts payable
• Responsible for saving source documents used in data entry

Experience:

• Entry level
• Office or clerical experience preferred
• Ag/tree fruit industry experience a plus

Qualifications:

• Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems and Microsoft Office software a plus
• Strong personal computer and business solutions software skills
• Accuracy and integrity of data entry
• Good planning and organizational skills to balance and prioritize work
• Good communication skills for communicating with support personnel and management
• Ability to interact and connect with all Stemilters
• A commitment to understand that change is the only constant and a practice of change with purpose, flexibility, and adaptability is a must
