Accounts Receivable Clerk jobs in Buffalo, NY

TEKsystems has partnered with a local manufacturer, looking to hire an accounts receivable clerk

Responsibilities:

• Systematic and manual invoice generation/creation daily (both product and non-product)
• Ship document to invoice match, and price verification, prior to invoice processing
• GL coding accuracy on invoices
• Bank submittal of check receipts, as well as internal communication of such
• Systematic customer payment recording and application, as well as close out of paperwork daily
• Emailing or online submittal of completed/approved invoices to customers daily
• Continuous communication with customers on open statement and collections
• Daily Accounts Receivable activity/reconciling report
• Weekly update on status of outstanding customer accounts to Controller and CFO
• Upkeep & storage of all AR billing and collections documentation for audit purposes
• Assistance with AR related GL account reconciling
• Month end AR aging verification
• Completion of credit reference requests from customer vendors
• When needed, meet with Controller in order to resolve issues in a timely manner.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• ERP system experience
• High level Excel skills Required (Microsoft Office)
• 2 years of accounts receivable experience
• Manufacturing sector experience a plus
