Accounts Receivable Clerk supports the day-to-day operational activities of an accounts receivable department. Creates and distributes invoices to customers. Being an Accounts Receivable Clerk records, verifies, and posts payments received by the organization and ensures transactions are recorded in accordance with internal accounting policies. Maintains and reconciles accounts receivable ledger to ensure accurate and timely receipt of payments. Additionally, Accounts Receivable Clerk responds to customer inquiries and assists with the research of any discrepancies regarding bills. May utilize accounting software and systems to manage invoices and payments. Requires a high school diploma. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Accounts Receivable Clerk works under moderate supervision. Gaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline. Job Title: Accounts Receivable Associate/Clerk

Role and Responsibilities:
- Posting and reconcile cash daily
-Email customers in regards to short paid invoices
-Process credit card payments
-Create and maintain updating customer accounts
-Send credit inquires to banks and business references
-Update and maintain customers sale tax exemptions
-Create and maintain customer's sales concessions, price group, and trade agreement pricing
-Process credit/bill for taxes
-Emailing invoices on customers portals
-Maintain miscellaneous non AR data sheet
-Update invoices for shipping in order
-Maintain scrap tickets, determine pricing, and create invoices
Qualifications and Preferred Skills:

Physical Demands:
-Must be able to sit for long periods of time
-Must be able to proficiently use a telephone and computer
-Must be able to stand, walk reach with hands and arms, kneel or crouch and stoop occasionally
-Must be able to occasionally lift and/ or move up to 35 lbs
Hours:
Monday-Friday 8am to 5pm
