Accounts Receivable Manager manages accounts receivable functions to ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies. Oversees collection activities such as sending follow-up inquiries, negotiating with past-due accounts, and keeping track of cash receipts. Job Summary:
The Accounts Receivable Manager is responsible for overseeing the credit granting process, monitoring customer accounts, issuing credits on customers’ accounts, reconciling monthly bank statements, and processing state sales tax for multiple states.
Required Duties/Responsibilities:
· Effectively manage and oversee all customer accounts.
· Manage and maintain relationships with customers and assist in resolving any issues.
· Ensure timely collection of outstanding debts.
· Processing credits for customers
· Reconciling monthly bank statements and reporting to management
· Reporting monthly sales tax
· Update ACH information for suppliers.
· Working with other departments in resolving issues and ensuring customers’ needs are met.
