URM Stores, Inc. is currently looking for an experienced professional who is passionate about all things Accounting to join our team as our next amazing Accounts Receivable (A/R) Manager!!! Our A/R Manager position, must be self-motivated, enjoy working with a collaborative team, and be solution oriented. Reporting to the Controller, this position provides direction and oversight to an accounting team consisting of A/R and general accounting team members. In addition, the successful candidate will understand and apply accounting principles, be familiar with computerized accounting systems, and can define problems, collect data, and draw conclusions. 

Your Day-to-Day:

• Responsible for supervising four Accounts Receivable team members with day-to-day cash application and collection duties.
• Oversee accounting and accounting system for company stock and member rebate program.
• Develop cash forecasting models to determine short and long range anticipated funding needs for member rebates and incentives.
• Provide mentoring and coaching in the areas of accounting policies and procedures, financial reporting, and records management practices.
• Ensure compliance requirements are met by customers for all federal and state regulations by keeping required customer licensing and registrations up to date.
• Assist with financial reporting process and year-end audit.
• Support audits by regulatory bodies and authorities as needed.
• Be accountable for the administration of the accounts receivable system and completion of monthly account reconciliation between the AR and NetSuite general ledger.
• Build a cross organizational rapport to execute amazing customer service.
• Diligently monitor all aspects of the accounting team.
• Create a spirit of continual analysis and improvement in areas of quality and productivity.

• Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational / time management skills.
• Proven analytical ability, problem solving skills and data driven decision making capability.
• Must be detail oriented, work well under pressure, and can work well with a variety of people and departments.
• NetSuite experience preferred.

Education & Experience:

• BA or BS in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
• Minimum of three years’ experience working in the industry or public accounting with working knowledge familiarity of month end closing process and financial reporting.
