The Accounts Receivable clerk is a self-motivated, detail-oriented individual. This person manages incoming payments, and properly tracks them into the system to maintain accurate bookkeeping records.

DIRECT SUPERVISOR: Office Manager

KEY RESPONSIBILITES:

• Knowledge of the store layout, inventory, company policy, etc
• Perform and or assist in cycle counts and physical inventory
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Ability to organize a daily workload by priority
• Attends safety meetings as needed
• Observes store areas for safety, potential theft and security risks
• Ensures that customer expectations are communicated to “Operations/Management” as necessary

PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Maintaining bookkeeping databases and spreadsheets and updating information as needed
• Communicating with previous clients and customers to request payment and arrange payment plans
• Collecting payments from customers and accurately recording them in the system
• Creating reports and balance sheets that document overall profits and losses
• Updating clients’ accounts based on payment or contact information

SKILLS:

• Understanding of basic principles of finance, accounting, and bookkeeping
• Strong Computer skills (Microsoft suite, POS software)
• Excellent Communication and Organization Skills
• Strong decision-making skills

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• Accounts Receivable 3 years
• Customer Service 3 years

EDUCATION

• High School Diploma/GED
• Associate degree preferred

ABILITIES REQUIRED:

• Stoop, Kneel, Crouch or Crawl Periodically
• Lift, Carry, Push or Pull up to 50lbs
• Stand and or sit for prolonged periods
• Use keyboard/computer for prolonged periods

Monday – Friday 6am-6pm

Saturday 7am-5:30pm

STORE HOURS:

Monday – Friday 7am-5pm

Saturday 8am-5pm
