Accounts Receivable Supervisor is responsible for supervising and guiding operations in the accounts receivable function of an organization. Maintains and reconciles accounts receivable ledger to ensure accurate and timely receipt of payments. Being an Accounts Receivable Supervisor monitors collection period and sends follow-up inquiries regarding payments for the organization. Negotiates with past-due accounts to resolve all payment issues in a timely manner. Additionally, Accounts Receivable Supervisor implements standard operating procedures to ensure compliance with internal accounting policies and controls. POSITION SUMMARY
The Accounts Receivable Supervisor is accountable for and supervises the daily operation of the Accounts Receivable Department (KY) within NFI Parts.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
· Supervise the AR staff in KY to ensure proper execution of all tasks.
· Work with AR Manager to analyze and coordinate AR staff workload.
· Train new staff and ensure KY staff is cross trained.
· Provide coaching and development of staff throughout the year.
· Provide completed Employee Performance Reviews (EPR) and new employee (1,3,5) month reviews.
· Work with AR Manager to develop departmental processes and ensure they are being adhered to.
· Weekly reporting of KPI’s to staff.
· Weekly one on one meeting with AR Manager (review potential risks and department updates).
· Prepare quarter end reports for AR (Reserve Allowance (Private side of business)).
· Participate and work with Business Systems on Oracle project testing (CRF’s related to AR).
· Act as a liaison with other departments regarding business flow and process development/refinements.
· Responsible for ensuring all key controls (ICFR) identified under their area of responsibility are designed and operating as outlined in the Internal Controls over Financial Reporting.
· Ensure policies and processes are adhered to ensure goals and objectives for all regulatory and legal requirements are met including organizational Quality, Environmental, Health, and Safety programs.
WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:
· High School Diploma/GED.
· Minimum 5 years of Accounting experience.
· Leadership skills.
· Detailed, analytical, organized, mathematical, and excellent communication skills.
