Stockton Nursing Center is currently searching for a dedicated Activities Director to join our team!

The primary purpose of the position is to plan, organize, and direct a program of activities which provides opportunity for entertainment, exercise, relaxation, and expression and fulfills basic psychological, social, and spiritual needs which will be available to all residents of the facility.

**Daily Pay Available**

Activities Director Responsibilities:

• Maintaining a calendar of activities and effectively communicating it to participants.
• Coordinating and communicating with staff members.
• Overseeing group activities.
• Posting a monthly calendar of events.
• Arranging travel to off-site activities.
• Ensuring that staff and participants follow all safety protocols.
• Monitoring patient health and providing reports to caregivers.

Activities Director Requirements:

• Sufficient knowledge and experience in long-term care.
• Two (2) years experience in a social or recreation program preferably in a long-term care setting within the last five (5) years.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field may be required.
