Dixon Nursing and Rehab, a skilled nursing facility located in Dixon, Missouri is seeking a Activity Director that has a passion for providing the highest quality of care with compassion and integrity!

The Activity Director plans, organizes, develops, and directs the overall provisions of Activities in accordance with current Federal, State and local standards, guidelines and regulations, facility established policies and procedures, and as directed by the Administrator. The Activity Director is responsible to assure that activities are provided to attain or maintain the highest practicable physical, mental, and psycho-social well-being of each resident on an individual basis.

Essential Job Functions include but not limited to:

• Encourages socialization within the facility to provide a healthy life enrichment for each resident
• Plans, directs, and coordinates appropriate activities for all residents

Activity Director

• One to Two years’ experience in activities, preferably in long-term care
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Must be able to read, write and follow written and verbal instructions in English
• Strong organizational skills
