Overview:

As an Activity Aide, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents by assisting our Activity Director and implementing engaging activities. This position is ideal for individuals who have a passion for working with seniors and creating a positive and stimulating environment.

Responsibilities:
- Implement activity programs as planned and assigned to meet the functional levels, needs, and interests of each resident

- Assist residents to and from activity programs and outings as scheduled
- Provide companionship and support to residents during activities

- Maintain a good rapport with family members and encourage family support in programs.
- Collaborate with the activity director to develop and implement activity programs that cater to the interests and abilities of our residents
- Maintain accurate documentation of resident participation in activities
- Assist in setting up and cleaning activity areas before and after each session
- Ensure the safety and well-being of residents during all activities
- Provide feedback to the activity director regarding resident engagement and preferences
