Responsibilities:
- Assist in planning, organizing, and implementing a variety of activities for residents
- Engage residents in social, recreational, and therapeutic activities
- Collaborate with the activity director to develop and maintain an activity calendar
- Assist in coordinating special events and outings for residents
- Document resident participation and progress in activity programs
- Maintain a clean and organized activity area

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in social work, senior care, or related field is preferred, not required
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Knowledge of aging issues and counseling techniques
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage schedules effectively
- Familiarity with nursing home regulations and guidelines is a plus
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Proficiency in event planning and recreational therapy is preferred, not required

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 – 35 per week
