Activity Assistant

Full-Time, Some Weekends

About Our Health Center:

Oasis at the Keys is located in the upper Florida Keys.  The Keys are a very special place, and we are proud to be part of the fabric and folklore of the Republic.  We pride ourselves on quality care, responsive service, and commitment to excellence.  We are adding one good Activity Assistant to our team.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:  Activity Assistant

·         Assist in planning, organizing, and implementing group and individual activities.

·         Communicate activities with residents, families, volunteers, and health center staff.

·         Assists in transportation of residents from one activity area to another.

·         Participate in group activities to ensure maximum involvement by interested residents.

·         Assist the director with decorating for parties, holidays, and special events.

·         Follow the daily activities schedule and carry-out the assigned planned activities.

·         General housekeeping duties in activity areas and supply areas.

Qualifications:  Activity Assistant

·         Positive, upbeat, friendly personality.

·         Experience in recreation setting a plus.  -Will teach the right candidate.

·         Experience in party planning and carrying out social and recreational programs a plus.

·         Must be creative and have appropriate input in creating new activities.

·         Willingness to help others.
