    This role will be based in our plant in Norwood, MA and because it is so central to our business and our production employees on both shifts, you will need to be on-site 5 days a week with some flexibility in terms of working hours in order to be available for 2nd shift employees. There is some flexibility in which days and hours you work, but ideally 2 days (Monday, Tuesday or Thursday) will be from 11am to 7:00pm or 12:00pm to 8:00pm and the remaining 3 days will be from 9:30am to 5:30pm. Please note, we do have flexibility here.

    Your Impact: As our HR Coordinator, you'll play a crucial role in supporting our team across various HR functions. You'll be the first point of contact for employee inquiries, ensuring they feel supported and valued. Your work will involve benefits administration, policy interpretation, and assisting with employee engagement initiatives. Fluency in Portuguese is essential for effective communication with our diverse workforce in the production facility.

    What You'll Do:

    • Provide exceptional support to employees and internal partners
    • Process new hires and terminations with accuracy and efficiency
    • Administer health and welfare plans, including enrollments, terminations, change reporting and claims resolution. Also, administer FMLA and other leave of absences.
    • Maintain employee records in compliance with legal requirements
    • Support performance evaluation programs
    • Assist in developing and implementing personnel policies
    • Help with in-house HR audits to ensure compliance
    • Process changes through payroll to ensure accurate record keeping and proper deductions; and help administer the attendance policy.
    • Support employee relations, recruitment, and retention efforts as needed
    • Collaborate with the HR team to brainstorm and implement solutions for a fantastic work environment
    • Provide administrative assistance, including data entry, filing, and scheduling
    • Create reports and dashboards to track HR metrics

    What You Bring:

    • An Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree is preferred, but a strong work ethic, a positive attitude and willingness to learn is equally important
    • Written and verbal fluency in English and Portuguese is required
    • Strong MS Office skills – You’re an Excel and Word whisperer, able to make data and documents dance
    • Experience with ADP Workforce Now (preferred but not required)
