The Paint Valley Alcohol, Drug Addiction and Mental Health Board (PVADAMH) is looking for a positive, organized professional to fulfill the role of the Administrative Assistant.
This position provides administrative support to both the Executive Director and Associate Director of PVADAMH. This position interacts professionally with a diverse group of community members and stakeholders. Chosen candidate will also coordinate meetings and schedule appointments under the direction of the Executive Director and the Associate Director.
This position works closely with the Board of Directors and ensures that appointments from both the state and the county are current.
This position ensures that the public is appropriately notified of Board Meetings, and that all Board members have needed information for the meetings. Serves as media contact for the board also prepare and coordinate all press releases.
In addition, the chosen candidate will maintain accurate and current policy manuals, contract books, and the Board member and employee orientation manual. Maintains PVADAMH Board website and various other social media channels.
A positive attitude, and good organizational skills are required for this position. In addition, candidate must have the ability to communicate professionally both verbally and in writing.
The candidate must be at least 18 years of age with High School Diploma or GED, Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, and Word. Knowledge of Roberts Rules of Order is a plus, but not required. Candidate must have a valid Driver’s License and appropriate auto insurance.
