Provide a wide variety of administrative and operational services to assigned personnel within the office and organizations. Specific duties may vary greatly from office to operations or depending upon the nature of the organization and the number of support staff assigned to the office / organization.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support the office staff by typing, editing, proofing and filing of documents; answering telephones, furnishing routine information, screening and routing calls, and recording messages; preparing outgoing mail and shipments; processing expense reports; maintaining the organization’s manuals, logs, guides, safety reports etc.; and duplicating documents such as letters, memos, manuals, personnel records, proposals, and presentations.
- Process purchase orders for equipment, supplies, uniforms, etc. upon request.
- Perform desktop publishing, creating documents such as presentations and reports upon request.
- Monthly safety training reports delivered and completed by account in Bowie.
- Perform various field activities. This includes delivering checks, uniforms, training personnel, quality inspections and covering in case of shortage in personnel.
- Processing employee transaction forms for new hires, rate changes, address changes, title changes, leaves of absence, terminations, etc.; coordinating background checks, security clearances, and motor vehicle checks; maintaining personnel files; verifying, keying and processing employee time sheets for payroll submission; and processing special pay adjustments and check requests.
- Create monthly tags in Corrigo, and log/scan inspections in QMS or I-Drive.
- Maintains regular and acceptable attendance at such a level as determined by ABM. Must be available and willing to work on a fulltime schedule and must be available and willing to work overtime (including daily, weekend and holidays) as needed and determined by ABM as necessary to meet the business needs.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); should have general office experience and a working knowledge of accounting principles. Proficient with common business software, such as Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Word.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Bilingual Spanish/English. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in standardized situations. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.

Pay: $18 - $19 hourly, non-exempt
The pay listed is the salary range for this position. Any specific offer will vary based on the successful applicant’s education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data.
