Hours: Approximately 25 hours per week (Monday-Thursday) (Negotiable)

Job Responsibilities:
1. Maintain confidentiality regarding financial records and personal communications.
2. Answer phones/receive visitors and respond to their needs.
3. Prepare bulletins (including inserts) for weekly service and other special services.
4. Assemble and layout the church newsletter in collaboration with church members.
5. Bookkeeping: maintain individual contribution records, Pay all church bills in a timely manner per designated procedures, Maintain payment record with proper approval.
6.Prepare payroll semi-monthly including bank transactions and tax payments. Maintain personnel records.
7. Operate and maintain office equipment and keep in good working condition.
8. Order supplies as needed.
9. Maintain master calendar of activities.
10. Other clerical duties as assigned.
Skills: Fluent in Microsoft Word (365) and Quickbooks. Knowledge of Excel and Outlook. Ability to learn other software programs, such as Breeze and Canva. Varied skills in social media platforms is an asset. Ability to multitask and communicate effectively. Demonstrate a high level of trust. Must be very organized and self motivated: attention to detail.
Ability to maintain a professional and welcoming demeaner as the primary representative and point of contact for the office.
