Administrative Services Director plans and directs the operations of an organization's staff and service functions. Oversees various internal service functions that typically include administrative/office, financial operations, facility maintenance/space planning, security, hospitality services, equipment and supply procurement, vendor management, and others. Being an Administrative Services Director monitors capital and operating budget spending. Designs and implements processes and policies that support efficient service delivery and meet the organization's changing needs. Additionally, Administrative Services Director sets departmental performance goals and standards of service. Utilizes data analytics to measure activity and drive continuous improvement. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Administrative Services Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. To be an Administrative Services Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function.   • Automation Personnel Services is looking for a hard-working Administrative Assistant for a company based in Bessemer, AL.

    Pay Rate
    $18.00 per hour.

    Schedule and Hours
    Monday through Friday, 8 00 am to 5 00 pm.

    Administrative Assistant Duties and Responsibilities
    • Responsible for coverage of the front lobby directing visitors and delivery trucks to appropriate personnel and manage incoming calls.
    • Shipping, receiving and distribution of office packages, mail, etc.
    • Perform other office support activities such as faxing, filing, typing, scanning.
    • Convert PDFs into Excel Spreadsheets to ensure spreadsheet and Access database matches.
    • Create and manage new account files
    Administrative Assistant Qualifications and Requirements

    • Clerical Experience
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills and organization and prioritization skills
    • SAP experience preferred.
    • Self-starter to work independently
