Multi state, skilled nursing and healthcare facilities company adding a new position to our NC region, RN, Director of Clinical Services.
RN Director of Clinical Services shall develop, maintain, and evaluate an environment of excellence that supports the organizations NC clinical division and shall ensure that nursing services are in alignment with organizational priorities, goals and objectives, as well as State and Federal regulations and provide oversight of the NC Regional Clinical Directors. Maintains 24-hour accountability for leadership responsibilities including evaluation, planning, executing and monitoring operations consistent with the corporate, the division, and departmental mission statement and values.
Identify and participate in process improvement initiatives that improve the customer experience, enhance workflow, and/or improve the work environment.
Provide evidence-based clinical expertise to regional teams that promote optimum outcomes of patient care.
Assist District Director of Operations and VP of Operations with strategic planning, existing program revision, and new program design and evaluation.
Analyze business processes and delivery of care within a specified region and initiate appropriate action based upon results utilizing the QAPI process.
Guide and mentor CCH Regional Clinical Directors as they provide both clinical support to their assigned facilities.
Provide onsite clinical observations at 14 facilities throughout the state of NC
Interpret company policies and procedures to regional teams, facility leaders, and staff to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
Actively participate with the Executive team and regional teams to provide feedback and recommendations for development and implementation of new initiatives, policies, processes, and systems to ensure compliance and successful outcomes.
Apply management and clinical expertise, education, research, and consultation to optimize clinical outcomes.
Provide guidance to regional clinical directors, regional teams, and facility leaders in solving problems, refining existing processes, and developing new programs that stabilize or improve clinical, reimbursement, and compliance results.
Track and trend clinical data monthly; provide findings to the regional team with suggestions/or opportunities to correct when applicable.
Other special projects and duties, as assigned.
The qualifications you will need:
Minimum of five (5) years related experience in regional long-term care/geriatrics
Active North Carolina RN License
Knowledge of state and federal regulatory requirements.
Experience in data analysis, program evaluation and strategic planning.
Effective verbal and written English communication skills.
Demonstrated intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook, Internet, and Intranet navigation.
Highest level of professionalism with the ability to maintain confidentiality.
Ability to communicate at all levels of organization and work well within a team environment in support of company objectives. This includes the process of virtual zooms and regional calls.
Customer service oriented with the ability to work well under pressure.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy, excellent organizational skills with ability to prioritize, coordinate and simultaneously maintain multiple projects with high level of quality and productivity.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Available/accessible via phone to regional team members, long term care center Administrator and Director of Nursing during evenings & weekends.
Ability to work with minimal supervision, take initiative and make independent decisions.
Ability to deal with new tasks without the benefit of written procedures.
Approachable, flexible, and adaptable to change.
Travel required including overnights.
Function independently, and have flexibility, personal integrity, and the ability to work effectively with team members and vendors.
