Administrative Services Director plans and directs the operations of an organization's staff and service functions. Oversees various internal service functions that typically include administrative/office, financial operations, facility maintenance/space planning, security, hospitality services, equipment and supply procurement, vendor management, and others. Being an Administrative Services Director monitors capital and operating budget spending. Designs and implements processes and policies that support efficient service delivery and meet the organization's changing needs. Additionally, Administrative Services Director sets departmental performance goals and standards of service. Utilizes data analytics to measure activity and drive continuous improvement. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Administrative Services Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. To be an Administrative Services Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function.     Stonington Institute is committed to providing quality substance abuse treatment options for adults in Southeastern Connecticut and surrounding areas. We offer medical detox as well as residential addictions treatment for active duty and retired military service members in our North Stonington location. Our clinic in Groton, CT, offers partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient treatment, and is conveniently located across the street from The Inn at Trails Corner, a new 180 bed dormitory-style sober community for adult men and women who attend our outpatient day treatment programs. The Inn offers overnight accommodations, full-meal service, indoor/outdoor recreation options, a workout room, and computer center for all clients. We accept private insurance, state-funded plans and self-pay arrangements.

    Job Summary:

    The Director of Case Management Services (DCMS) supervises the case management staff and oversees the discharge and aftercare plans for the Adult Partial Hospital and Intensive Outpatient programs (PHP/IOP). S/He is responsible for ensuring that a high quality, cost-effective case management service is delivered by the department, in keeping with the program's goals and objectives. The DCM ensures that the case managers provides direct client care specific to each client's needs and assures each client is at the appropriate level of care. The DCM is involved in the assessment, treatment planning and service coordination process for all cases. This individual serves as a key member of PHP/IOP leadership.

    Qualifications

    Bachelor's Degree required; Master's degree in healthcare-related field preferred. Five (5) years of case management experience, plus 3 years of experience in a management position required. Experience must be in a residential or outpatient substance abuse/behavioral health setting. Demonstrated leadership within the agency may be substituted for supervisory experience.
