    Description

    ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT – STUDENT SERVICES Provide direct support to the Student Services Office with additional support to the Associate Principals and counselors by conducting research, preparing statistical reports, handling information requests, and performing clerical functions such as preparing correspondence, receiving visitors, scheduling, and delivering services to students, staff, or parents.     EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS Minimum: High School Diploma or Equivalent Preferred: Associate Degree in Applied Science – Administrative Professional Documentation of equivalency due to past experience may be accepted SKILL REQUIREMENTS Minimum: Student focused with an understanding of the developmental needs of students Able to follow directions and take direction from supervisor, organize a series of simultaneous tasks, and consistently deliver a high quality product for multiple people Able to coordinate all aspects of scheduling and organization Excellent computer skills including district student management software programs Excellent communication skills with faculty, staff, students, parents, and the public Must be dependable and able to perform job duties effectively and in a timely manner Preferred: In-depth knowledge of computer applications to include Microsoft Office Suite software, Skyward, and Internet applications
