Your primary objective will be to ensure a smooth and efficient admission process while providing compassionate support to individuals and their families during a challenging time.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Initial assessment: Conduct initial screenings and assessments of potential clients to determine their eligibility for admission and appropriate level of care. Gather relevant information regarding medical history, substance use patterns, and treatment needs.
    • Intake coordination: Coordinate the intake process, including scheduling admissions appointments, collecting necessary documentation, and explaining treatment programs, services, and policies to clients and their families.
    • Insurance verification: Verify insurance coverage and benefits for potential clients, including obtaining pre-authorizations and authorizations for treatment services. Assist clients in understanding their insurance coverage and financial responsibilities.
    • Treatment planning: Collaborate with clinical staff to develop individualized treatment plans based on clients' needs, preferences, and treatment goals. Ensure that all necessary paperwork and documentation are completed accurately and in a timely manner.
    • Crisis intervention: Provide crisis intervention and support to clients and families in crisis situations, including managing emergencies, coordinating referrals to appropriate resources, and ensuring continuity of care.
    • Communication and coordination: Serve as a liaison between clients, families, clinical staff, and external stakeholders to facilitate communication and coordination of care. Maintain accurate and confidential records of all admissions-related activities and interactions.
    • Support and advocacy: Offer emotional support, encouragement, and advocacy to clients and families throughout the admissions process, addressing concerns, answering questions, and providing information about available resources and support services.
    • Continuous improvement: Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to stay current on best practices, regulations, and industry trends related to substance abuse treatment and admissions coordination.

    Qualifications:

    • Prior experience in admissions coordination, intake coordination, or client services in a substance abuse treatment setting strongly preferred.
    • Knowledge of substance abuse disorders, treatment modalities, and recovery principles.
    • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
    • Compassionate, empathetic, and nonjudgmental attitude towards individuals struggling with substance use disorders.
    • Must have a proven track record of success in SUD admissions.
    • Experience with KIPU, CTM, and Salesforce preferred.

    Job Type: Full-time

    Pay: $65,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
