Qualifications:

• Knowledge of Medicare requirements and insurance providers
• Familiarity with EMR software systems
• Understanding of CMS guidelines and DOH regulations
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Preferred: Established relationships with local hospitals

Responsibilities:

As an Admissions Coordinator at Arnold Walter Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, you will be responsible for the following duties:

• Communicate with hospitals and referral resources to facilitate seamless admissions
• Assist in resolving operational issues affecting admissions
• Support marketing efforts to increase referrals and admissions
• Educate visitors on resident care procedures and policies
• Build and maintain relationships with hospitals and community organizations
• Ensure accurate financial verification before admission
• Stay updated on Medicare/Medicaid/Managed Care reimbursement processes
• Report monthly statistics to the team
