Preferred Care at Wall is looking for HR Manager / Staffing Coordinator.

The HR Manager/Staffing Coordinator must be an excellent communicator, able to foster relationships with both employees and external vendors. They should ideally have experience in hiring and onboarding as well as other human resources procedures. The HR Manager / Staffing Coordinator will plan, lead, direct, develop, and coordinate the policies, activities of the department, ensure compliance and implementation of the departments, and organization’s mission and talent strategy.

The goal is to ensure that the Facilities staffing requirements are always met and employees work in a friendly, supportive environment.

HR Manager / Staffing Coordinator Responsibilities :

• Collaborates with senior leadership to understand the organization’s goals and strategy related to staffing, recruiting, and retention.

• Plans, leads, develops, coordinates, and implements policies, processes, training, initiatives, and surveys to support the organization’s human resource compliance and strategy needs.

• Administers or oversees the administration of human resource programs including, but not limited to, compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development.

• Identifies staffing and recruiting needs; develops and executes best practices for hiring and talent management.

• Monitors and ensures the organization’s compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews and modifies policies and practices to maintain compliance.

• Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law; applies this knowledge to communicate changes in policy, practice, and resources to upper management.

• Facilitates professional development, training, and certification activities for staff.

• Performs other duties as required.

• Oversee all staffing needs and operations of the company

• Liaise with recruiters to fill vacancies in a timely manner

• Assist in preparation and execution of orientation and training plans

• Prepare and submit reports on staffing operations

• Ensure the center has appropriate levels of staffing and nursing care at all times.

• Prior Experience as a Staffing Coordinator or Scheduler and Payroll within a nursing center or healthcare setting.

• Complete monthly nursing schedule, coordinating requests to ensure appropriate coverage of units.

• Complete and post worksheets/time schedules.

• Ability to build strong relationships and gain support from staff.
