Requirements for Admissions Coordinator:
- Highscool diploma or equivalent
- Understands and can maneuver in a heavily regulated healthcare environment
- Medical records and/or admissions experience, a plus
Job Duties for Admissions Coordinator:
- Complete admission packets with the resident/patient or responsible party
- Determine payer source and any resident/patient payment responsibility
- Provide informational tours for visitors
- Adhere to federal, state and facility regulations
