```Duties```
As an Admissions Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating and facilitating the admissions process for our organization. You will play a crucial role in ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for patients and their families. The primary purpose of this job position is to obtain required information and admit residents in an efficient manner, in accordance with established policies and procedures, and as directed by your supervisor.

- Greet and assist patients and their families in a friendly and professional manner
- Collect and verify patient information, including insurance details
- Schedule appointments and coordinate with medical staff to ensure timely admissions
- Provide information to patients regarding admission procedures, policies, and financial obligations
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of admissions and discharges
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless coordination of patient care
- Follow HIPAA guidelines to ensure patient confidentiality

```Skills```
To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills:

- Experience , ER registrar, front desk coordinator, or medical receptionist is preferred
- Familiarity with medical terminology and procedures
- Strong administrative and organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written (MUST possess, as a minimum, a high school diploma or GED).
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in using medical office software and scheduling systems
-The ability to type a minimum of 35 words per minute and use a 10-key calculator.- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining patient privacy
